Sure, I wasn't disputing that.
I was just trying to point out the FBI can't issue a delete request for one of my posts (i.e. censorship) because they don't have my private key to sign the request (assuming the relays are checking signatures).
I appreciate the meme but it seems a bit misleading. AFAIK, a request to delete is signed by the user's private key, so the user is still in control of their content.
Agreed, I should have said "be adopted" instead of "win".
As much as I want #bitcoin to win, gold is easier to control. Ultimately, governments always favor what they can control.

I noticed links to Twitter posts don't display properly here. Iris uses twitframe.com . The example on their page doesn't even work (Jack's original tweet). I assume this is because the Twitter API was locked down? However, when I go to https://publish.twitter.com , it looks like embedding tweets is still allowed.
Is this something that can be fixed in #nostr clients? Maybe this topic is controversial, but seeing linked tweets without clicking through to Twitter's website would be super helpful. Thanks.

Wow, the naming of the #Damus app just hit me. Very clever!
Using #nostr is rewiring my brain. For the first time, I'm starting to think about how I can add value. Other platforms don't incentivize this type of thinking... unless you use a subscription model, but let's be honest, most of us don't create enough content to get paying subscribers. Micropayments via zaps opens up new possibilities.
