i wanted to work on this for a bit.. ..i made a script for active window control to move and/or resize windows in floating window managers (JWM, Xfce's Xfwm4, etc) ..there's probably a cool way to do this all with wmctrl, but i used xdotool, xwininfo and wmctrl to make it work..
