Fees are high. Also good. Miners are making money. The eventual transition to fee-based sustainability has been demonstrated. The Lightning Network is ready to assume its designed role of low-fee fast settlement layer 2.

Unusual activity on #Bitcoin. $8.50 fees. 410,000 unconfirmed transactions, and 4,000 tx/block.

Very high for recent times, and very high for a Sunday.

Bad time to open/close Lightning channels.

I have 8 wallets. I use 3: WoS for most stuff, Zeus to manage my Lightning node, and BlueWallet for its watch-only mode. And Alby for all things Nostr.
