A recovering fiatautomaton's musings on the exploits of the state, central banking and how Bitcoin is the way out.

BITCOIN IS SPEECH

I glanced at the NYDIG report,

BITCOIN’S PROTECTION UNDER THE FIRST AMENDMENT

A few lines that stood out:

“Using and mining bitcoin also constitutes protected expressive conduct because those activities are intended and widely understood to be a protest against government control and debasement of fiat currencies….

“Bitcoin constitutes a highly communicative and at times boisterous community dedicated to

winning greater freedom from government fiat. It offers the sort of promise and opportunities that have prompted government jealousy from time immemorial. For these very reasons, the First Amendment implications of bitcoin cannot be ignored….

This.

Love that. I would add looking after your health too so you don’t get sucked into the medical industrial complex.

Being on Nostr feels like attending at a rave with all the best people while being on some dope M.

If you’re reading this I love you.

“Oh, an example of a misuse of government spending? Can we increase spending again in order to make up losses?”

The irony is that intervention of this style looks like an admission, more than anything else, of the ineptitude of these social welfare systems’ ability to achieve their intended purpose. Not to mention it only serves to recover a mere 3% of the funds lost to fraud.

Starmer is following the classic socialist script, where freedoms are curtailed for the supposed greater benefit of the average person.

Increasing spending to make up for the losses due to reckless spending. Makes sense.

I’ll answer according to my understanding (pleb though I may be):

Broken money leads to centralized control of the flow of information. This happens because privately held social media companies effectively hold a monopoly (and so does Google) on this market. The network effect has made it difficult for regular folks to forego making use of them, because it’s the average persons primary means of keeping in touch with each other. They can amass a large troughs of information that they can sell to advertisers. They can make special interest groups to lobby the government. So they help the rich to get richer and strangle the users into “safe” spaces using algorithms. “Unsafe” content often connotes sex traffickers and terrorists (which, obviously nobody likes), and conspiracy theorists; but over the last few years we have seen anything less than politically expedient to be wantonly censored. In this manner, social media and bit tech feed into consolidation of political interests, and the furtherance of fiat crimes.

Nostr leverages hard money and circumvents all of these atrocities. It gives users access to content without the interference of the algorithm. It protects the potential for users to earn hard money for their contribution of value.

If you made it through this whole post, thank you. And if you like, please feel free to indulge me and let me know your thoughts.

Thank you for the post 🫂

Working in the public service (2024): Sits in meetings listens to fiat cats tell him what he already knows, nods and pretends to agree. Thinks about how to stack more sats.

Questions superior fiat cat publicly, pays social price. Doesn’t care, stacking sats.

Talks to coworkers about superficial work stuff, in the meantime thinking about how to stack sats.

Goes home, eats, exercises, and finally kicks back. Looks for ways to stack more sats.

He makes point (around 5:00 mark, link below) that the Canadian macro situation is better off than in the US and in the same breath admits that groceries, housing and fuel prices are unaffordable

I’m skeptical when the argument for a ‘macro outlook.’ To me, it’s just code for, ‘we’re taking your money via inflation and taxes and creating more mismanaged programs to make it bearable’

Bitcoin fixes this

Around the 5:00 mark (link below) is especially eye-opening. Colbert forces a comparison of Canadians’ and Americans’ economic situation, but we all could’ve seen that coming. More Democratic Party PR.

Watching fiat blabber come out of politicians’ mouths, such as Justin Trudeau’s, is just cringe.

The Reality.

Before Money, Barter was the exchange of things but was rated in Human Empathy.

Money removed that Human Empathy part of the exchange, because it was not perfect Information that recorded exactly the Human Empathy part of exchange.

That was Commodity Money. Since the 1970's Fiat Currency money became globally used, that further removed that Human Empathy exchange.

People game system's, so that opened Pandora's Box, you can have everything at no cost. If you can game the system with no cost, you have the perfect environment for fast breeding Psychopaths to win. Empathy holds others back.

Politicians from Vanity to Psychopaths can promise everything and deliver nothing. Psychopathic lawyers become heads of Government's, Councils, Mayor's and big Institutions and Non-Government Organisations etc et cetera.

The nett result of the loss of exchanging Pure Human Empathy is living life backward to those who cherish the exchange of Human Empathy.

As such, Gender Attacked, Family Attacked, Childhood Attacked, Religion Attacked, Property Attacked, Opinion Attacked, Home Attacked, Privacy Attacked, Health Attacked, Nature Attacked, Survival Attacked, Climate Attacked etc et cetera.

Bitcoin goes right back to what I said at the start and further, it's the exchange of Pure Human Empathy before people even thought to write about how a God could do this better.

If you don't think that chasing Fiat Currency is the Religion of living backwards, then my friends, your minds have gone.
