- your salary

- how “busy you were”

- how many hours you worked

people will remember:

- if you were a good channel peer

- if you were built like a chiseled Olympian god

- how much you zapped them

Sure wish something meaningful had come directly from that. It might have gotten the ball rolling, so it may yield results later, but I'm impatient, tell me about the god damn aliens, Congress!

Thought of something today…

People like to compare Bluesky and Nostr because they are built around a similar idea. But it’s claimed Bluesky has more users, a few million apparently. But Nostr supposedly only has 100k or so active users.

Yet today I went searching for real world events and groups around each. What did I find?

Couldn’t find a single event about Bluesky.

Yet the first search found numerous conferences, meetups, and other gatherings for #Nostr

I think this is actually a decent litmus for telling the difference between an app with some users, and a movement. One is cheap, the other lasts.

#Nostr is a movement. We aren’t going anywhere. 🫡

Intelligence by itself doesn't get you very far. You need perseverance, courage, drive and many other things to succeed.

And if you don't want to end up like Bill Gates, you also need virtue.

Wasn’t the Covid stimulus a UBI test drive? The results I witnessed were inflation and that it killed ambition & work ethic in several of our practice employees.
