Mostly experiments in the world of insurance.

Problem is a bunch of folks who knew nothing about smart contracts or blockchain bought into the hype and executed deplorable implementations.

IBM Food Trust and Chronicled use smart contracts for supply chain management.

Propy is a real estate platform that uses smart contracts to facilitate property transactions and automation.

AXA's Fizzy is an insurance platform that uses smart contracts to automate flight delay insurance payouts.

DocuSign has integrated smart contracts to automate and enforce legal agreements.

What is timeless and inescapeable? Empty platitudes do not affect meaningful change.

Big change happens by average people doing common and unremarkable things. You need to read some history, like the real Sam Adams did.

Thankful for a clean, warm house to come home to, a Christmas tree that is holding its needles, and tea by the woodstove.

If you're working so hard that you don't have time to make your house hospitable, and yet you own a pet that costs you thousands of dollars and hours of time per year, and you spend an hour each day listening to news about drones in a state 1000 miles away, complaining about things that don't affect you...

You're wrong.

That's an assessment, not a news report.

This "place" is a tool. It's not a real place. You're essentially saying "This hammer needs an update. It's headed towards irrelevance. Somehow, this hammer must be known for courage."

Tools are not neural--tools change people. People's use of a tool can be sloppy or downright wrong. But don't confuse the tool for the person.

Sounds like you're placing an awful lot of importance on a group of tool-users that don't have real-world interactions. Energy is better focused elsewhere if you're concerned about effective leadership and real-world change.

There are medicines for that level of paranoia.

Joking aside, there are rpis and other SBCs w/o antennas. Ethernet is the only interface for internet access. Or an ancient PC.

Don't think you're wrong. 0.0000414% touchrate is pretty much "most" not touching.

That's a whole lot of words to not say much. 588 NOTES in simplified Mandarin, one or two of which I was likely the author (on an alt.) No actual demonstration that folks ON the mainland (as opposed to FROM) are using.

Poor journalism, and no surprises. They didn't even guesstimate #npubs🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

Grateful for an electric kettle and hot coffee

And smooches from the ones I love
