I miss my fuckin dog

I've been wanting to go trekking/hiking/overnight camping for a long time, finally got some gear for it.

1.One sleeping bag, 5C/41F (comfort rating) , 1.2kg/2lbs /11 L volume packed. 2.One Backpack 50+10L for long weekend trips

3.One pair of trekking pants

4.Cooking set for camping + 2 dried meals and 2 dried soups for the road.

5.Already had the hammock.

I'll be sharing my brother's tarp, gas stove and water filter but I'll look for buying that in the future if the trip will be worth it and I'll be able to sleep comfortably in 7-9C temperature outside.

Will be bringing on some additional ski gear for layering although during the day it will be 16C+

Am I the only one who has more trouble doxxing myself more on Nostr than on previous social media like platforms?

I think it’s got something to do with the openness + the macro community being much more tech savvy (which is also a massive plus)

I’m not powerful or rich enough of a person that I am staying somewhat anon to protect my station - just prefer my introverted privacy. And it’s not like doxxing is gonna make me the hot topic. 🤣

I’m torn. Actual profile pics are welcoming but I also don’t need this face on the inter webs more than it already is. Maybe it’s just degrees of comfortability.

Had a really great conversation with a coworker asking about Damus today…led to discussion around #bitcoin. She had some great questions that I would never have expected from someone who would call herself ‘non-tech savvy’…she was interested in the pros and cons of hodling versus using #bitcoin in day-to-day transactions. I think she might be orange-purple pilled which I didn’t even think was what was happening 😂. Was just grateful for a receptive audience and fruitful discussion. 💜

I have a question about friendship 🫂

Since i think #nostr is a place where a lot of intelligent people are right now, i think it’s the perfect place to ask this.

I have often heard about a phenomenon that intelligent people seem to have less friends or less social interaction. That is also what i can observe in my own life. I don’t want to say that i am more intelligent than other people, but i find that the things i want to talk about often do not resonate with others or they treat it much more on the surface than i do. So i really struggle to make deep connections. Most if not all of my few friendships are very superficial.

So my question is, do you experience similar things? 🤔
