Jesus and TAXES! Here we go again!!!!😨
A lot of Christians in the west have adopted a statist understanding of Scripture.
In many instances they almost view the state, and taxes, as holy ground.
But as I was reading Scripture I was struck with Jesus' choice of Matthew to be His disciple.
Matthew was a tax collector. He was a statist. Jesus called him, "Follow me." Matthew LEFT his tax collecting, and followed Jesus.
Jesus calls Matthew as a tax collector, but Matthew doesn't remain a tax collector. Why? Because taxation is theft, and you shall not steal.
Why did Jesus tell the Pharisees that He came to call SINNERS to repentance when He was eating with Matthew and the tax collectors? What was the SIN of this group of people? Taxation.... theft.... fraud....
The Bible tells us to pay taxes when they are imposed on us, but if Jesus teachings are adhered to in all nations, forced taxation would be thrown into the trash bin of history where it belongs.
God rained bread 🍞 from heaven!!!
The other day I was very discouraged 😞. I was out working and talking to my wife on the phone when suddenly out of the corner of my eye I saw something fall and heard the thump on the ground.
I looked and exclaimed, "I think a piece of bread just fell from the sky?!"
Did it come from a bird who dropped it? I don't know, probably. But I took it as a sign from God. In my moment of discouragement and doubt, bread fell from the sky.
God still communicates with us everyday, His voice is loud, we're just often deaf and hard of hearing.
Never give up brethren. Onward!

Socialism is a carnal fiat philosophy that denies the reality of your created purpose.
To be made in God's image is to bear in one's identity the divine deed to the property of earth.
When a government takes your right to property away by imposing taxes with the threat of violence and theft of property, they are playing God and must be opposed.
The Gospel redeems and renews the inner man and thus will powerfully effect the world he lives in. Socialism is statist legislated theft, the Gospel transforms the man so he doesn't steal, but instead gives his wealth/property voluntarily to the needy.
#Bitcoin is the best technology ever invented to peacefully disintermediate pagan socialist leeches, and incentivize God's imagers to respect personal property rights.
The decentralized and unconfiscateable nature of #bitcoin makes it so we must add value to voluntarily get someone to give us their money.
The Biblical properties of #bitcoin have the potential to reorient human behavior to more align with God's creational order and design.

Why would God command Abraham to sacrifice his son??? Because God hates child sacrifice. Let me explain 👇👇👇
In Abraham's time, gods requiring child sacrifice was NOT uncommon. As a matter of fact, Abraham's forefathers worshiped pagan gods,
"And Joshua said to all the people, “Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, ‘Long ago, your fathers lived beyond the Euphrates, Terah, the father of Abraham and of Nahor; and they served other gods." Joshua 24:2
This makes sense of the omission of any hesitation or confusion on Abraham's part. While he loved Isaac, gods and child sacrifice were common, perhaps YHWH requires child sacrifice too?
As you know, God stops Abraham from from sacrificing Isaac at the last second. YHWH was setting Himself apart from the gods of the nations. He will not require the blood of YOUR sons, He will provide the sacrifice with HIS Divine Son.
God commanded the Israelites, Abraham's descendants,
"When you come into the land that the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering," Deuteronomy 18:9-10
The message of the story is clear: YHWH does NOT require child sacrifice like the gods of the surrounding nations, HE HATES IT!
Despite that and His clear command, Israel STILL succumbed to pagan child sacrifice worship later in their history.
God came in the person of Jesus, the Son, to be our sacrifice once for all.
Abraham told Isaac, God will provide the sacrifice. He proved a Ram that day. But many years later He hung on a cross, providing the ultimate sacrificial provision!

Then I had another question, "Why is money?" What is the fundamental PURPOSE of money?
The Westminster Cathecism says, "The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever."
Money exists as a tool by which we can glorify God and enjoy Him forever.
This happens when God's imagers collaborate together by working, innovating, inventing, serving and building a world that enhances life and honors their Creator who revealed Himself in Christ. Money is the tool that facilitates this peaceful collaboration.
We need a money that optimizes this collaboration and purpose. We need a money that glorifies God in its rules and policies by adhering to His divine design revealed in the Bible.
#Bitcoin is that money.
Every Saturday men from my church gather to discuss Biblical masculinity, workout and eat steak. We also inevitably riff on #Bitcoin , happens everytime. 🤣
I am convinced, strong Christian brotherhood is essential in creating a Godly culture and territory.

For Christians our desire is to see Christ exalted among the nations and freedom flowing like a river from sea to sea. It's time we confront one of the most pernicious evils in plain sight, money debasement.

My wife asked me if redemption was possible for fiat institutions. I had to think hard. I answered, "Yes/No. They must be born again." Let me explain...
It is much like our own new birth, you must be born again by God's Spirit and become NEW CREATIONS.
The same goes for our fiat institutions, from the banks to the schools. They all must be crucified and resurrected to newness of life in the likeness of Christ, that is, conformed to HIS WORD.

Carnal fiat vs Divine fiat! 👇
Fiat is a Latin word that means, "Authoratative Decree."
In Genesis 1:2, God says, "Fiat Lux." Let there be light.
God created everything out of His divine fiat. Only He has the ability to create objectively valuable things by fiat.
The sin of man is grounded and flows out of an attempt to BE GOD.
This was the lie of the serpent, "You will be like God, knowing good and evil." This was the first carnal fiat lie ever uttered.
You can be like God, even defining good and evil.
Enter trans mania and wokeism. It's the same old lie. Transgenderism is a fiat decree, "I am not a boy, I am a girl, despite the fact all evidence points to the contrary."
They believe they can simply decree their own gender. But God has already made the fiat decree, just because you say otherwise, doesn't change anything.
This is the core of all sin, carnal fiat. It's at the core of fiat money. Governments play God and decree value where there is none and force this new value on everyone by threat of force. This is a privilege they don't have, it is cosmic rebellion.
#Bitcoin represents a return to an objective monetary standard. One that is being adopted organically on the merit of its honest network, not by carnal fiat decree.
Carnal fiat is a grotesque contortion of divine fiat. This is why transgenderism is so aesthetically off putting, it rejects the objective truth of their divinely decreed identity. Fiat money has the same effect on money and value.
