Somehow my Alby browser extension had a different nostr key. confused by that. I really like the thought of nostr, but im just not sure im down with the implementation.
Any one using something like 0xChat? nostr:npub1awyzkzaktxlhyg6syzst3pxy5lvp0c908yphz4ekk9rp3zcapp5qxn79n4 did Brent or Wes ever make it to nostr? I think Brent said something about playing nostr chess and I’m all in on getting my ass kicked at some chess.
A $60 Intel-Based SBC Cheaper & Faster than a #Raspberry Pi 5

I’d be scared of those 2.5g Ethernet ports being all intel, with all their NIC issues…
That last note made me sound way more angry than I am. More just trying to understand the benefits vs the cons of nostr and how to best implement it.
Plus I saw that nostr:npub1getal6ykt05fsz5nqu4uld09nfj3y3qxmv8crys4aeut53unfvlqr80nfm is going to sunset the free [@]getalby.com address unless you host your self so that just further makes me wonder why it requires your user name and local-part of the email address to be same. I don’t really want to disclose my email address but I’m also not paying to be verified. Seems like a shortfall of the nostr protocol. nostr:npub1awyzkzaktxlhyg6syzst3pxy5lvp0c908yphz4ekk9rp3zcapp5qxn79n4 am I missing something? Feel like I am.
How long until November?
Why does NIP-05 specify that your use name and email address have to be the same to get verified? I purposely don’t use the same so I’m not spammed into oblivion. I’m verified through alby but what happens if they go away?
nostr:npub1awyzkzaktxlhyg6syzst3pxy5lvp0c908yphz4ekk9rp3zcapp5qxn79n4 getting caught up on shows since I’ve been in the middle of a move. LUG 554: Mansplaining as a Service…. I laughed so hard people in the subway thought I was crazy.
I’d be happy to never read, write or think PHP again as well.
Trying this it again. Is it still just Bitcoin talk and porn? Because that’s all it was last time. No judgement.
