Aaannddd … followed.

Either they’re telling the truth during these interviews, which means there’s really no such thing as “fuck you” money, or they are perfectly fine selling out free speech to the highest bidder.

This is why Nostr matters even for those who don’t use it. While wealth resides on a sliding scale where some days you can have more than others, free speech is binary. Either we all have free speech, or we don’t. There’s not really a grey area. nostr:note1xag7cms7zdcjfyfs2hq2lq5dehnqqx3kuty9fstcf9t2sk5hhxvq0a6fvm

Have any businesses that have moved to the Bitcoin standard found that they are able to increase their quality, add new offerings, or reduce their prices? Perhaps all three?

I contacted Chase about when deposit funds would be available if I deposited via:

Wire

Cashier check

Cash

The answers were all the same. After the fraud department reviews and approves- probably next day but none immediate. I guess cash isn’t even as good as cash anymore.

Nostr is bigger than you think. If you ever want a break from posts about Bitcoin and stacking sats, search something completely random. The search function is entirely underrated. Hit a goldmine with #mushrooms and to my pleasant surprise, even the 90’s computer game King’s Quest V produced results.

Thanks for clarifying. Without connecting a Hub or to YakiHonne, it was not intuitive to me on how to move the sats and they appeared to be sitting as a credit only available to use towards the Alby market. I’m of course going to rely on your knowledge of the interface as to its full capabilities. Simply, for own personal limitations, I could not figure out how to do so. Derek Ross’s post was what clicked with me. As you can probably see, I actively use Alby, I like many features of it, and the work you put into the products are appreciated.

This supposed to be the same guy who came up with Bitcoin? I remember watching that stream on X while avoiding work and wondered if it almost wouldn’t be better if the connection dropped a la the Tyson/Paul fight just to give the guy an out.

Figured out how to run a wallet through NWC compatible apps thanks to your regular postings. YakiHonne does make it easy. I was able to offboard sats stuck in the Alby extension app without running a hub because of one of your posts today. Thanks for sharing your knowledge. Might not always be apparent at times, but even innocuous posts are going to help someone new connect the dots.

GM Nostr.

Day one of adding Bitcoin on an organization’s balance sheet.

I am curious to see if this influences operations in the long run.

Good question. Since most CEO’s are robots themselves, can we push out a version upgrade while we wait?

Nostr husband: “Honey I saw a brilliant idea on Nostr the other day”

Normie wife: “Oh God.”

Husband: “An OnlyFans style business but the models own their content and relays. They can setup a paid relay and be zapped cash”

Wife: “wait, what? People can be paid? How much are zaps worth?”

Husband: “however much the sender determines.”

Wife: “may I see this thing?”

…Scrolls for 2 seconds…

“What the shit!? Is everyone on Nostr autistic? OF would never work on here.”

Smash buying causes pain twice: First, on the next day when the number goes down. For some reason, this must always happen. Just accept it for what it is- a glitch in the simulation.

And second, when you realize you have no more fiat to buy the dip which you yourself of course caused by smash buying the day before.

According to ChatGPT… this an accurate reading?

“Based on the data from Nostr’s real-time statistics, the platform exhibits several indicators of healthy growth:

• Total Users: The platform has surpassed 40 million unique public keys (pubkeys), with over 1.1 million users actively engaging.

• Daily New Users: The consistent addition of new users each day suggests a steady influx of participants.

• Daily Active Users: The number of users engaging daily reflects sustained activity and user retention.

• Event Publications: The cumulative count of events (including profiles, notes, and other types) has exceeded 450 million, indicating robust user interaction.

• Zaps Activity: The platform has recorded a significant number of ‘Zaps’ (microtransactions), with daily and total amounts reflecting active economic engagement.

These metrics collectively suggest that Nostr is experiencing healthy growth, characterized by increasing user adoption, active daily participation, and substantial content generation.”

I’m finally starting to see some weird shit on here. Either my relays have improved or you all are finally tapping Nostr directly into that unfiltered mind of yours.
