All depends on your own circumstances, at least you've got a plan though! I suppose if I didn't do my little sabbatical, maybe I wouldn't be a maxi now. And having experienced "retirement", I think when I do finally get there I need productive stuff to do. It's not good for your mental health to just bum around, fun for a month or 2 but gets you down after a while.
The far east does sound very nice though, certainly sunnier than North Wales 🤣
lol, I wish! I’m very cautious of early retirement. I was really dumb in my first bull market (2017) and gave up work for 8months thinking I was a genius and had enough corn. Then spent all my corn and had to get a job. I spent that time off properly researching bitcoin and that’s when I became a toxic maxi but still regret not working and stacking through that time - I would be retiring now if I did!
Finally had it with my fiat job. New job search starts in the New Year.

Work Xmas do last night. Here are my insights from normie land
- Brexit is still responsible for much of the bad in the world
- inheritance tax is great because those spoiled kids didn’t earn that money and whoever that tax money is going to deserve it more
- one day soon they’re gonna get their finances sorted out and join the rich in benefiting from asset price inflation, the “diversified portfolio” of stonks and “crypto” is the way

Yeah, all good on that front! Just hope it comes back on to save the food in the fridge/freezer! One phase has been restored but the only thing that works is an led lamp, quite strange

I think by the time the population is that high, we will be a multi planetary species. A Mars colony would probably create some other token as they are out of the hash horizon of bitcoin. There’s a good WBD episode about this
