Its only a communion issue between the patriarchs. We are in communion with each other. Orthodox life doesn't really have anything to do with the patriarchs, we submit to our priest and confessor. We pray for them, but everyone kinda understands that they are both politically motivated and pouting.

Great platform. You can host your own instance as well so as to stay as anonymous as possible or use their onion address. It's a multi sig system so both parties put down their side, and the transaction is controlled nicely without trust. Much simpler to use than say bisq in my opinion.

If you're expecting a lightning wallet, you'll be slightly disappointed. More comparable to MUUN in my opinion, where it functions like lightning but you are just sub swapping on chain and feel it in the fees.

Excited about it, want more information about it. Worried that it wouldnt really affect areas like mine as I seem to be the only person in my area that hodls or has any interest in bitcoin. Trust is allocated to individuals in your community you, but I dont really trust anyone anyways, so worried that I will be right/disappointed when tylhe first article comes out saying someone stole from their neighbor. I have mixed feelings with lightning and want to stay away from it, and those emotions inevitably carry over into fediment and its early implementation on an already experimental layer.
