I can't help remember the way anyone stumbled upon this brilliant piece, but I can remind everyone interested that we're getting close to 30th anniversary of "A Cypherpunk's Manifesto" being introduced to the world.
Add a reminder to celebrate this historic milestone on 03-09-2023 or simply follow #[2] to never miss the most important Bitcoin & Nostr historical and upcoming events.

100%
to me, it was life-changing
tbh, the most interesting part was that after the talk pretty much all the parents that were there approached me to ask questions about bitcoin
the extremely unusual thing was how pretty much most of them sense there was a difference between bitcoin and crypto
one literally asked me "I think I kinda understand bitcoin but then I see the broader crypto and I get extremely confused"
😂
I would pay 5M sats to know how I found the cypherpunk manifesto; I think I was 11, and around the time I heard about FREE KEVIN.
I would pay 10M sats, at least, to have a video of that moment.
Do you remember when you first heard of the cypherpunk manifesto?
I may or may not have gone on a rant about state control of the money and the importance of stopping the growth of the state to an audience of 6-to-12-year-old kids.
On the other hands, these kids now know about the cypherpunk movement.
I call that progress.
🤷♂️ not sure, but I didn’t like that when I was using iris
we will have this very soon
what bird? are you writing from iris.to? I think iris replaces images with the image of a bird
yeah, I do something similar: write it and if you find yourself writing it often you look into it

zaplife displays the zapped comment in the zap feed, nice touch!
thanks, #[2] ! 🤩
Clout chasing predates fiat by millennia.
The beautiful thing is that nostr permits for segregated networks; it doesn’t need to operate under a single, intertwined feed and you can easily and freely opt-out from content/people you don’t want to interact with.
Shadowy-supercoder hat ON
There definitely are tons of sustainable business opportunities, just not FAANG-size/speed
More importantly, there are opportunities the protocol (and it’s wide adoption) enables that couldn’t exist before
It uses your default nostr: schema handler; you’d need to change your settings in your system 😅
