Went to a Flyers game for the first time in a while last night and caught up with a couple great friends. Still managed to get a good night's sleep, and now I'm ready with coffee and Bluey for my 5-year-old to get up any minute now. โค๏ธ

So my Bitcoin and Lightning nodes have been running rock solid for months now.
That's a good thing. BUT I sure knew what I was doing better when stuff was breaking and I was in there tinkering trying to fix it.
Now that it works? I'm gonna forget how to do all this stuff! Next time it breaks i'm screwed. ๐คฃ
As an aside, I love sitting with my desktop feed open, posting via my phone, and seeing the feed instantly update on my desktop.

Is anyone here exclusively nostr? Or are you sharing your time with other social platforms?
I went back to X for to-the-minute election results. The algo and ads make it so, so noisy now. It had been a while.
I tried Threads, and the algo is so aggressive I only saw posts about gaming nostalgia, streamers asking for engagement, or people complaining about Bluesky.
Speaking of Bluesky - that feels a lot like early Twitter. A chronological timeline and no spam so far.
Nostr has the best tech tho. ๐ฅ
Am I starting to lean into #Ditto as my primary desktop Nostr client? hmmmmmm
I still believe that nostr overall is too Bitcoin-heavy.
That said, it sure is fun right now. :-)

Man. I had all but removed social media from my life and was better for it. Then wanting up-to-the-minute info on the election got me back into checking X. Overrun with ads.
So I took the opportunity to also check Threads and Bluesky. Threads is pretty sure I only want content related to the latest Dragon Age game. Bluesky is greenfield for me so there's not much to look at.
It's an interesting state of things in social media. But the noise, the scrolling... I'm just not sure that it's for me.

I'm realizing that I feel a little guilty when I get Claude to come up with a script for something. Because I didn't actually do it, so I feel like I don't deserve credit for it.
Like I automated some really time consuming reports for one of the engineers on my team, and saved them a lot of time. But I didn't actually have the creativity and know-how to devise a utility on the fly -- I just knew how to get it out of Claude.
It worked, so it shouldn't matter, right? It's an odd feeling.
