Need to give that a listen. Mike's fascinating. He was on my previous podcast. I jokingly call him "Cosmic Mike"!

God I love paying for good and services with Bitcoin

Done

(It's especially cool when it's a Nostr relay offering!)

Notion is a tool I've used for many years now. Databases, even as websites. Their incorporation of AI is really impressive. It's like the software has "come alive".

What I do worry about though: where is the space for original thought?

If you can just AI for an answer on anything, are we no longer free thinkers?

Looking at middle of January 2025 to release the first episode of my new podcast

Good to have put a schedule in place

Lots of work to do meantime to make it happen

There's definitely less noise over here on Nostr. Question is: how valuable was the info you're now not seeing?

Opening up space in our lives, gives us the ability for new creativity to come through

My bet: long-term you'll benefit hugely from not being such a big part of the "news cycle"

My mate who runs the local cafe 'I reckon this bull market will top out around 120k usd"

Not a bad call in my view

Or at the very least a good "profit taking" level

Shout out the Bitcoin HODLers who's net wealth in the last 7 days has absolutely flown!

Preparing to "take some profits". Going to gift some Bitcoin to someone very close to me. Intention is to enable financial freedom for them

Reminder: even with one's purchasing power increasing, it doesn't change the fact that physical real estate is a terrible store-of-value vs Bitcoin. The nice house one starts to eye up, will be even cheaper, in just a few short years. Make renting work

Without risk, there is no reward

Fun to see things going in the right direction though, totally agree

Many an evening wondering "oops, what if I am wrong..?"

I've not met a single Bitcoiner who didn't think both:

- I am late

- I wish I'd bought more

I've made one other investment in 2 years, which is for a pre-ipo Bitcoin infrastructure company

A very small allocation

Otherwise I've not found a single thing I was confident could beat Bitcoin

As the Bitcoin price has surged, I've had a bunch of friends reach out to me

Often with such simple questions, which are not only easily answered, but also re-occuring

A handful of threads are great "customer discovery" proof-points for building some kind of product

Shout out to:

- The Chinese government

- Block-fi

- Celsius

- FTX

Their efforts in 2022 helped me to accumulate far more Bitcoin than I would otherwise ever have done

What a horror show bear market that was, but decisions back then are paying dividends now

The old investment adage, "The time to buy is when there's blood in the streets", once again proving on point
