Hello friends,

please I need your opinion.

As a volunteer (end of life doula) at local Hospice, we needs special adjustable beds for bigger patients which will help not only to them, but also to nurses .

Hospice is now in prepearation of organizing event, where people will be invited and they can contribute.

I’m thinking now, Nostr is in its core a great platform for charity as the payment system is built-in.

My concern is, how to make myself or any entity on Nostr legit, so people can trust it’s not a fraud and their sats are going to the good thing and not to someone’s pocket?

I can show my identity, my face, share photos from Hospice, create dedicated account, etc, but can be done more?

What do you think?

Actually, the symbol ≡ is also used for menus (specifically called "hamburger menus") in software apps.

In such apps, the presence of this symbol means that there are deeper layers of information that we can see by clicking the symbol.

So, my interpretation of #[4] is that there more interesting layers of personalities to him than what we see here on #nostr 😁

That's just my interpretation though 😊

You could also set up a small consultancy to help businesses stand up and manage their own btc pay server

Any ideas how individuals or developers can help in businesses transacting using Bitcoin? ⚡⚡⚡

I mean the word 'transacting' in the truest sense..

Like I could walk-in and buy a froyo using lightning...

And then realise that I forgot to tip the helpful staff and send some sats their way...

As long as the hospice's official site or official posters show the ligntning address/NIP-05 identifier, any #nostr user will be able to establish that the fund is going to the hospice.
