Could you help validate a statement about communities, please?
Since communities can be created on any relay, and notes to that communities can be posted on any relay, it is improbable (if not impossible) to RELIABLY provide a notification service for moderators whenever a new post is created on their community.
I can of course provide a notification service but cannot guarantee the reliability of it due to different relays being involved.
Is my understanding correct?

Communities are a little new (less than a month old) on nostr. But certainly they are lot different than reddit communities in how they work
A few community clients are nostr.kiwi , satellite.earth and zapddit.com
Relays are the secret saviours that filter a lot of shit 😁
Also, majority of the clients show you only the posts of those you follow, in the home feed. So it's unlikely youu will get spam or porn, unless its your thing.
For clients that show you topic based feeds like zapddit, we have a few mechanisms to not startle r user with explicit images by blurring the media of people you don't follow
