Should you get mobility assets that have overlap in their freedom of movement benefits (i.e. visa-free access to the same country)?

I call this “visa-free redundancy” and it’s a good idea in some circumstances depending on a) how important access to that country is and b) the additional marginal cost of the redundant mobility asset to you.

The reality is that most people have a list of about 7-10 countries that are very important for them to

access, whether for pleasure, business or transit.

Redundant access to those countries may be worth the investment of time or money. Visa-free agreements and residency treaties between countries change all the time.

Pro tip: saying “I just need an answer to my simple question.” in an attempt to avoid paying for a lawyer’s time

is a major 🚩 🚩 🚩 for lawyers worth their salt.

It immediately shows the prospective client is either a) unsophisticated or b) a jerk/narcissist or both, and unlikely to understand the value the lawyer brings. That also means they’ll probably be a pain-in-the-neck, sooner than later.

Not worth it.

Yea, eventually they’ll find a lawyer to deal with their nonsense, but not the best lawyers.

Visa-free access to the UK from citizenship by investment countries (such as Vanuatu, Grenada, St. Kitts) could be on the ropes.

If so, the value prop of such CBIs shifts heavily towards the other springboarding opportunities (friendlier consulate, residency springboarding) the citizenships provide.
