En route to live stream an exciting #bitcoin event in South Carolina! Beautiful view of Mt St Helens after take off.
Landed in Tokyo on Sunday around 4pm local time, after a 10 hr flight from Vancouver. Feeling pretty good despite the fact it was around 4am Pacific time when I got to my hotel. #planes #trains #automobiles :P
So happy to have my charter boat back in the water for the summer! If you are looking for a fun getaway to the Pacific Northwest, consider Salt Spring Island in Canada! nostr:note1hw0m2tjvrt6ltcn29f6wlgp2a9ucckq0rgtnzew3dg0gkk4567rqlgc709
Still thinking of all the experiences from #nostrica !
Looking for suggestions for a tested Wordpress plugin that enables a lightning pay button on my fishing charter’s site at https://fisheswish.com
Of course you will… I see what you are doing :P
After about 24 hours of travel, I am back at home on Salt Spring Island! 5 hr car ride from Uvita to San Jose, 4 hr wait for plane boarding, 6 hr flight from San Jose to Los Angeles, 2 hr layover, 4 hr flight to Seattle, shuttle back to parked car, 3 hr car drive to #[0] HQ (outside of Vancouver) to drop off gear, 0.5hr drive to first ferry for 1.5 hr ferry ride to Victoria, and then final 0.5 hr ferry to Salt Spring Island! And I just woke up from a beautiful long sleep. :) I’d do it again tomorrow to experience the community around #nostr! I hope to see another #[2] event soon.
🍿❤️🎬HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE! 🍿🎬📽
It’s time for Friday shorts! 🩳
This week we’ve chosen three short films by Stan Brakhage.
Brakhage is considered to be one of the most important figures in 20th-century experimental film. For anyone wanting to find out more, there is a fantastic interview with him from 1993 here: https://www.bfi.org.uk/sight-and-sound/interviews/all-that-light-stan-brakhage-film
Enjoy! 🍿🎬❤️

Wonderful post! I learned about Stan Brakhage when I studied with R. Bruce Elder at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University). Bruce was one of his closest friends, and I got to meet Stan before he died. Beautiful work produced by both of them!
You can MC with the best of them!
That stuff kept me running in the heat!
Thank you for the post, #[2] ! So glad to have met you and for your contributions to the event. That earpiece was for real-time comms with our tech directors in Vancouver. :)
What a wonderful surprise to meet such a vibrant community of devs and plebs at #[0] this week!
Very honoured to have been part of the live streaming effort with #[1] , #[2] , and all of the volunteers who made the event a success!
Nice mix of clouds to create atmospheric lighting on the #opensource stage at #nostrica
