The reality is no one knows what will happen, we know only that bitcoin is a scarce asset that should go up in time with adoption (if there is adoption)

Bitcoin only is too extreme, if many small businesses accepted "also bitcoin" we could grow the circular economy much faster, now days accepting bitcoin with a lighting terminal is very simple for small businesses (just need a mobile phone and an account).
There are many small merchants that could easily do that, I suspect the problem will be that they will have very little users paying with bitcoin.
What you described is just bad parenting, nothing to do with how crazy the world is.
It is true that as parents we have little influence on our kids as they absorb much of it from school and the environment, we have the ability to control what school they go to and what environment they get exposed to though.
I think It's not just the uncensorship of communicating with other people that is the great benefit, but also for builders of products and companies providing services, that don't have the risk of being shut out of the platform and lose their business model

Nostr's brilliancy is it's simplicity, companies can easily integrate with nostr and build on top of it without anyone's permission or worry to be shut down.
We must just keep using building and improving, the rest will follow.
