#Nostr fam, it's Friday and the begining of the weekend. What are you going to do with it?!

Have a wonderful day all.

Raising my glass to those of you with a thankless job. #ThankYou #RandomThoughts

When your Saturday to-do list is being βœ”οΈ off on Tuesday.

And so, that's how the week began.

Hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday #Nostr fam.

The best part of my day is gradually becoming the daily walks to the end of my street and back with my mom. It's a half mile and takes us 45 minutes. But they are precious to me bc I know every passing day makes that experience more scarce.

Mom knows her plants. I asked her why she never got into gardening...her reply, "bc you recognize and understand different plants and what purpose they serve does not make you a Gardner. Your dad is a gardener, I am not."

Now, keep in mind she doesn't know what month it is or who the current president is. But she recognizes her plants and their medicinal values.

The steps are slow and small, but the conversations are priceless.

The below title was recommended by someone I pay attention to. I'm about an hour into it and it's not really grabbing my attention yet.

Anyone else read or listen to this one?

Thoughts? Trying to decide if I should bump it to the bottom of my queue.

Negative. I don't think I've ever even tried a backflip. So trying to do it now would likely put me out of commission for a bit. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜€πŸ€£

When my fave niece wins best personality award. (High School Senior). If it warrants a 9pm call to inform me, then its worth posting on #Nostr for future generations to see.

Way to go Abbie.

Word on the street is that #BTC hit an all time high yesterday. If you're a HODLR and your not hard to find, check your opsec.

I've been hard to find since $47k.

I'm not sure Peter and Danny understand that. But, yeah.

Watching Peter and Danny in WBD....I don't think Zuck is going to publicly endorse or hug #BTC .

Bc if he did, within moments his fiat assets would be targeted by the state and he would have all kinds of problems popping out of the wood works.

I think I should watch the State of the Union address....

But do I really need to?!

If you already watched it, would you trade that time back to do something else/different with that time?!

Thank you Catty! Yeah, I'm very happy for them. I need to speak with my pops to hear how he processes having his first grandchild. I feel like it's still too soon for me the get amped up about it.

Need to Google "what does a grandpa do with his grandson?" So that I'm not an awkward robot when the little guys comes to life.

The first thought that came to mind if I'm honest is "broader attack vector". What kind of protection do I need to put in place for a new family in today's world.

I suspect how you frame your life is a significant factor on whether this understanding is correct or false.

I.e. could I have gotten where I am and being great in both realms of my life doing the things I've done. Probably not! But could I have chosen a different sector, such as a school teacher or maybe in manufacturing....possibly.

But the wins and losses would not be the same.

More mind noise. But, it's been occupying my mind as of late as a curiosity. I knew and understood the costs of my decisions when I made them. But maybe I could have considered different options to choose from.

No regrets, but how would I advise the next generation if I was asked the question.

Someone I knew and respected a long time ago said (paraphrased) as a man, you can be really good and successful at securing and dominating your professional space (business, career, etc.) or be a great family man. But not both. Choose young and understand the costs to your decision.

I don't know if I co-sign that approach to life.

Updates: the team is engaged meaningfully with some projects.

My mom is taking all her meds as prescribed. But she was a bit frustrated this morning bc she asked her echo what month it was and got no reply. Yeah, so is there a way to change those settings from English to French?! I don't know. I avoids mics and other things monitoring my behavior. Maybe she'll forget about it.

The dogs are well, but number one has an eye thing going on which we are monitoring closely. Their annual vaccines are due in about 3 weeks. So will bring that up to the vet then.

Sats are pricey at the moment, but gotta take the good with the bad.

Niece is graduating HS this summer. So looks like I'll be taking another trip to the Sunshine state this year.

Mini me is prego and expecting a boy this summer. Makes me a grandpa. It hasn't registered yet. But I'm glad they didn't wait any longer. This making a baby binness gets riskier once you hit 30, so I'm told.

And so there's all that. Guess I'll call myself lucky.

Good afternoon #Nostr fam

Thought I'd drop in and share some good news for the day.

I had a meeting with the CEO of Wednesday just a few hours ago, he said we were all going to have a banging day that gets wrapped up at the end with some 1990's Rock & Roll.

What tunes are you queueing up for your end of day hurray later today?

Good morning and happy Monday to you all #Nostr fam.

My intentions for this week are to work on things infrastructure. The framework that is not visible to the naked eye but serves as the foundation for a smooth operation.

I.e. servicing HVAC system, oil changes, cleaning roof and gutters.

Child proofing the house to make for a safer environment for "duke mom".

Life is not complex, it's just hard....sometimes.

Or said differently, because it's simple doesn't mean it's easy. The majority of the time it's simple, the hard part is that "it's"usually hard.
