Hospital bed gets delivered on Sunday, 3 therapist appts on Monday and 2 on Tuesday.
Got some work done yesterday and this morning.

But Mom had a childhood friend visit (still here in fact). She had her granddaughter drive her 4 hours one way to see Mom. And brought a ton of food.

This time last week I was making final arrangements bc I thought my mom was getting ready to check out. This morning, she was awake by 6am and trying to get out of bed by herself to change her undergarments.
She went from complete paralysis on the right side to now just very weak on the right side. So marked improvements. If we can only get the brain speech connections back. Things would almost be back to normal.

Crazy, busy day yesterday but I learned a lot. As a result I feel more empowered today than yesterday.
My mom took a shower in her own bathroom for the first time in 10 days last night. I could tell she was scared. But over time she’ll learn to trust that I won’t ever let her fall.

I think one of the most undervalued features of #BTC is that their are people much smarter, faster, stronger then me worried about preserving what #BTC is intended to represent (whatever that may be). It represents a different thing to all of us.
So, I am able to better focus on other life things instead of having to listen to fedspeaks and read tea leaves to get a head of whatever Wall St and the Rich Men North of Richmond are concocting for my proof of work.

Sometimes it's not bc they want you to fail, it's bc they worry about you and want you to stay in a familiar and safe lane.
But some of us can't stay in that familiar and safe lane too long. You're just not built that way. They'll learn that about you over time.

Had to completely remodel Mom's bedroom yesterday. Hospital bed was being delivered and basically transforming her bedroom into a warm and cozy hospital room.
So, yeah, Mom was not happy about that.
She's probably wondering where is my bed and where are my dressers?!
