Found some #comfrey by the side of the road near the organic dairy farm was hoping it was the elusive 'Bocking 4' but I'm guess it's 'symphytum asperum' for now.

Liking the blue flower colour though, looks like it will make an attractive woodland garden plant.

It's a leaf grabber this one is a Draper branded one. Had a Boscombe one before that broke after years of abuse during the supply chain meltdown so had no choice to get the draper instead. Both work well or you could always make your own!

Bocking 14 #comfrey regrowth exactly 2 weeks after it was cut down from flowering. We haven't had any rain in a month (which is unusual) and its ticking along nicely.

IF things don't get to hectic this season I will try to keep track of how many harvests I can get before the frosts kill it off which generally happens around late October.

That's an unusual colour for a pheasant! Seen a white one before but never one like that.

The Laburnum is in bloom, a beautiful nitrogen fixer that's not thorny. The wood is very dense, heavy and durable and has a wonderful grain pattern to it. Well worth planting if you into carpentry.

What everyone else has said medicine, fodder and soil building but it grows quick so you get a lot of biomass if you keep harvesting it. Also after a while the roots go deep decompacting the soil and making it hard to eradicate it. Good source of calcium, bees like the flowers the list is almost endless.

Most of these facists don't know history or they are not very bright. They like to make comments like 'how could the allies be on the right side of history if they were allied with the brutal inhumane Soviet Union during ww2?' without realising that's exactly what Hitler did at the start of the war...🙄

At least if they call themselves Mr Vril they are making themselves easier to spot...
