While I’m annoyed I stamped the old seedphrase, an hour or so hitting metal with a hammer is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

The deer partially harvested it for me. Was probably ready last week but growth had slowed quite a bit with the grey and wet weather of July.
Very nice of the muntjac deer to dead head the pelargoniums for me. Unfortunately it took some payment in flowers and beans elsewhere but I guess that is the cost of working with nature.

Box blight due to all the poor wet humid weather this didn't get any imo treatment yet so until I cook up some more I am going for a foliar spray of potassium silicate and water soluble calcium .
Interesting to note that I haven't even cut this yet this year and it still got infected. The biology and minerals are key to healthy plants and the other I have cut are doing great. Perhaps cutting them can spread the blight microbes but it shouldn't affect a truely healthy plant.

Depends how well established they are. Bindweed isnt easy to remove especially if it's roots are intertwined with everything else.
