No rules, no restrictions, no authorities, no permissions, no KYC/AML.
It's completely decentralized, open source, instant, private and safe.
Don't just end up as a consumer because you own bitcoin and use nostr, join in any role you want.
Set up a node, sell/provide goods or services, be part of it.
This is your chance, we are at the same beginning stages of when the internet started back in the early 90s.

Pulling your #bitcoin off exchanges does not mean putting them in custodial wallets such as Wallet of Satoshi or Alby.
You should only use the above two, or other custodial wallets, for small amounts of sats, for zapping for instance.
Otherwise, I recommend using Phoenix wallet where you'll get to hold your own keys.

Don't get a BTC wallet address, you will need a lightning address. You can use an app like Wallet of Satoshi or GetAlby (both custodial).
