Finding out what you’re wrong about often starts by getting offended by something. Instead of feeling irritation, recognize this feeling as the potential beginning to a better self and life. The whole world, not just you, stands to benefit from this approach.

Some weeks ago I was reading Thoreau's "On the Duty of Civil Disobedience" aloud at bed-time to my son, who of course does not understand it but appreciates the sound of the words all the same, when I discovered that its famous title was in fact not the original! The original title was significantly more radical: "Resistance to Civil Government."
It's quite short, and I would encourage everyone here to read (or re-read) it. It is still tremendously relevant. Re-reading it with the original (un-sanitized) title in mind, it lands even harder.
These days, Thoreau would probably get his door kicked in.

I’m in the same boat. I’m not on #nostr to live in an echo chamber of like minded individuals and simply jerk each other off all day. I’m on #nostr to stress test my opinions against an uncensored repository of human thought. Sure, it’s pretty homogenous right now as far as #libertarianism and #Bitcoin undertones, but there is already evidence of a higher capacity for reason and debate on behalf of the average user.
I’m hoping this continues to grow and with time a more diverse crowd emerges.
Dangerous opinion:
50 million humans is the ideal global population.
If we reduce the average birth rate to one child per couple, we could get there in around 5-6 generations.
Since we can’t/shouldn’t force people to not have kids if they want them, being #childfree by choice is the greatest gift one can currently offer humanity.
It has the added benefit of reducing the supply of slaves available to the fiat debt slavery cartel.
Just do your part and don’t worry about others. #nostr is simply better than the centralized alternatives, like #Bitcoin is simply better compared to #fiat.
This is not my focus at all since doing so only legitimizes an illegitimate illusory system. I’m focused on buying #Bitcoin for me, myself, and I. It is where I store my wealth. By doing this, and by not having children, I am effectively free from any tyrannical government’s reach. If my government annoys me, I take my wealth and simply leave to go somewhere else.
Sorry, #Bitcoin doesn’t care about your politics.
