Had a great holiday in Switzerland. Now that I’m back in the UK it’s obvious how bad the UK roads are - potholes everywhere, rubbed out road markings, car parked every which way. Where does our tax money go exactly?
How might The Mandibles be rewritten were Bitcoin to have been available?
“Ironically, attempts by nation-states to wage “information wars” to dominate or thwart access to cyberspace would probably only accelerate their own demise.” — a quote from The Sovereign Individual, first published in 1997.
Bitcoin is scarcity of energy. Attention is scarcity of time. Privacy is scarcity of space.
Reminder: when a bank gives someone a loan the money is created into existence. This is money created out of thin air. A loan isn’t backed on the other side by deposits.

In the UK we’re still 4% below the Bitcoin ATH from January when measured in BTCGBP…
Bitcoin has a finite supply so there can be no capital gains. What we’re really seeing is fiat collapse.
Fiat cash is not an asset; it’s a liability
Here’s an AI reading for the rest of 2025 from a cosmic cycles perspective… interesting!
**For the remainder of 2025, the overarching theme is the disruptive and innovative energy of Uranus entering Gemini in July. Gemini, an air sign, governs information, communication, networks, and short-distance travel. Uranus, the planet of rebellion, technology, and sudden change, transiting this sign suggests a period of radical evolution in these areas. For Bitcoin, a purely digital and networked asset, this alignment could signify a period of heightened volatility and innovation. Expect unexpected news, technological breakthroughs (or breakdowns), and a general sense of excitement and unpredictability in the crypto space. This is a time for traders to be nimble and adaptable, as swift reversals and breakouts are characteristic of Uranian energy.**

Shout out to all the parents out there and that feeling you get of deep pride in your child. Can’t beat it.

I haven’t read it yet, but it’s in my ebook reader backlog. Simon has mentioned it enough that I know I have to read it. Not sure I can say I’m looking forward to reading it though as I don’t think I’ll like what I read!
Tense moments tonight replacing a screen and battery for an iPhone 11… I could never have been a surgeon!

UK economist Gary Stevenson says Satoshi is secretly selling #Bitcoin to fund a PR campaign to pump the price. 🤡

“economist” 🤣
Since 1999 the UK FTSE100 is down 89% when prices in gold. We’re living through a Great Depression without realising it.

I know! I wish I found him years ago - I’ve only been listening for the last 3 months or so, but I can’t get enough of the straight talk and insight cutting through all the BS.
Simon is on point again, like clockwork every week. I always look forward to catching up on Bitcoin Hardtalk on a Saturday morning.
Thank you @SimonDixon
Even on a cloudy day there is something peaceful being down by the water.
Happy Saturday folks.

Very true. But for me it wasn’t about making fiat gains, but about being the change and doing my accounting in Bitcoin first. I did some historic modelling and over a four year cycle I would net both fiat gains and Bitcoin stack gains by adopting this approach.
