Speaking for myself but likely for a few others when I say I have nothing against bluesky or people on there. Yes, disappointed with some of their approaches to development and “moderation” but ultimately consider everything an experiment.

It’s tough to pave a new path for something that has a lot of users. Some things will be done well and some a mistake. People bring their own expectations from other platforms and may react strongly when their expectations are not met.

At the end of the day everyone is winging it to the best of their ability and makes choices they think are correct. We are all fallible humans and make mistakes. It’s impossible to please everyone no matter what you do - speaking from experience of running a small community. Someone will always dislike your decisions and not much can be done about it other than voting with your feet (presence).
