New article of Living on Bitcoin will be dropping soon. In the mean time, I've also launched a Geyser Fund for the project. Check it out.

This month, was looking at doing the "second brain" method for being productive. In order for it to work requires a lot of privacy compromises.
No thanks.
Going to stick with my good ol fashioned notebook and pen. Might be cumbersome. Might not be as fancy. But it's definitely private, secure and portable.
GM!
This month, I'm looking at using more privacy focused tools in what I'm called OpSec October.
**Overall goal for the month**
- Using Graphenee OS as primary OS
- Hardening work devices
- Getting rid apps and services which I had previously given my identity away ignorantly
- Making better use of privacy tools
-Learning to transact in a much more secure way.
Thus far, I think I've done a good job over the years making small improvements eachstepp of the way.
The aim isn't for 100% privacy, but getting to at least 80% of the way there.
More about this in a new edition ofLiving on Bitcoin coming out today.

Don't know what it is about this week, but just been having some really amazing conversations with fellow plebs which have helped inspire me to keep growing in the space.
Also, continuing to push NOSTR over all other SM platforms to fellow creatives in the field.
It's a huge upside benefit for sure!

Keep building.

Been talking to friends and colleagues these last few days about NOSTR and the potential it has for the creative industry.
What’s missing here is good content. Quality art, animation, design, music… There is definitely a need. For the sake of simplicity let’s lump them all under the banner of “creative”.
Right now, the venue for creatives is places like Instagram, YouTube, Spotify… all the other alternative platforms such as Oddysee, Rumble, Minds, etc., get overlooked because those platforms are - for the most part - “not what they are use too.” It’s not the stereotypical demographic for creatives.
But when these people post their work on the mainstream platforms and monetize, mainstream takes their pound of flesh. Instagram and Threads… there is no monetization, and the incentive models are definitely broken… yet people still continue to post their content there.
The opportunity for creatives, and it’s a big opportunity, is that posting to NOSTR they get to retain their data And when it comes to monetization; it is direct business-To-consumer. No middle man.
As I’ve explained it to my colleagues: Imagine a small studio (you) and you produce a short form piece. You publish to NOSTR. You make something that people like and appreciate. They ZAP you some Sats. It’s direct. You’re already monetizing. The incentive to keep getting Zaps is to continue to produce quality content to your market. You don’t even need a large audience.
Eyes open.
They’re getting it.
When the creative industry figures this out… (and NOSTR is still around)… It’s going to change things in a HUGE way.

Privacy is hard, but not impossible.
Thinking of doing a Nostober challenge. Just going to use freedom tech only in october. 30 day challenge.
Thoughts?

How y'all doing?
Circuses are meant to be entertaining.
All day, M-F, for 5 months straight…
I remember those days…

Was interviewed by the local business journal. Pitched them on the concepts of NOSTR and Bitcoin.
Will be getting a follow up interview in the coming weeks.
I work remotely. The company I started was one of the first remote companies in my industry back in 2008. We didn’t write the book on it, but we share as hell wrote a lot of blogs on it back in the day.
Working with certain clients… who are not familiar with working remotely… continue to tell me how it’s done and why remote work doesn’t work.
So rather than get upset or put up a fight… I quietly go back to the business I started 15 years ago, remotely, and continue working. Remotely.
When I say that entertainment, specifically animation, is a dead industry… This is what I mean.
You have upper management and executives who ask for print outs of Dropbox comments working in a now tech oriented world.
They Didn’t Make It (TDMI).

Really looking forward to making today a productive day.
Been testing our alternatives to Adobe software such as Affinity, Clip Studio, DaVinci Resolve, etc. The aim is being able to obtain either open source software or non-subscription based software in order to continue to produce animated content.
The other aim is to be able to purchase products that I can acquire with Bitcoin, or using Bitcoin (Bitcoin>Prepaid Card>Product).
Not much luck, but will find a way!
Bitcoin empowers people in freedom stricken regimes.
Please share this video of Bitcoin in Cuba far and wide.

Whats strange...
South Korea back in 1945 had a 15KRW to 1USD exchange rate. Now that exchange is 1,323KRW to 1USD but they live "better" than Cuba?
Might be an interesting future piece there.
