LN web wallets are interesting! Hello @mutinywallet

Yeah, the live stream looks fun, but I guess I'm wondering if there's a way to get a platform going. If not... Might try to develop something.
Is there a NOSTR version of YouTube?
good morning nostr, had a great conversation on building strong local circular economies at nostr:npub1theparkprcs70dcs437ke9zzwsr6u60f8flu7rg28m30438aep9sd94dha last month, check it out 🫡

Is there an LN wallet or gift card service that DOESN'T rely on Google Play services?

Making use of Graphene’s profiles.
Paying 7.39bits for an LN tx... Ooof...
More laws make more criminals.

So if you don’t comply, do you just not show up in China?

Continuing to build out GrapheneOS protocols for myself. Will be sharing insights and tips I’ve learned along the way in the next few editions of Living on Bitcoin.

From my archives, May 2020:
"As mentioned, the biggest issue is the fiat side of the equation. The bright side is that as bitcoin adoption increases, a circular economy should develop reducing the need to interact with fiat at all. Those who wish to accumulate bitcoin will either earn it or accept it in exchange for goods and services leveraging self sovereign software stacks such as BTCPayServer. Most won't buy bitcoin – they will earn it. Most won't sell bitcoin – they will spend it. This reality will take some time to develop and I think we must be able to provide KYC'd users decent privacy - without losing auditable supply - until we bootstrap a circular bitcoin economy."

The more users, the more coins circulate, the bigger the anonymity set.
Macro view, spending in a circular economy is the biggest coinjoin of all time.
Those are some layers, sir
Looking for insurance for the next leg of the digital nomad journey…
Statement from insurance company:
“We can not provide you insurance if you reside in the following countries: Cuba, Iran, North Korea or Florida.”
o_o
“…or Florida.”
=_=;
Spent the weekend hardening work devices (iPad Pro + iPhone) and the difference in productivity is raw.
Communication is distrusted considering all notifications are off.
Have to manually sync files, so there’s a bit of friction there.
And because the devices are no longer tethered to each other; I’m having to stop what I’m doing on one machine to jump over to the other.
It’s not to say that those are bad, but it’s definitely cumbersome. Kind of reminds me of when we use to do all production work in an analog fashion.
There is definitely a lot more quiet and focus though.
