high time to get back to the good timeline (with dirigibles)
maybe it’s your postmodern animistic synchromysticism talking to you
tea tree I think. I wish there was pine scent.
Attention economies frame the world as either/or
…
But you, I, she over there, he over here, knows a secret third option that exists for each one of us, each of us can put our attention to that; and the quality of our attention, each of us, individually, makes the world anew, again.
I see now why you asked, my language was more ambiguous than I meant it.
haha no no not me
I’m imagining the drawings the designer made when thinking about this.
100% designed by drawing
and I dare say it was a lot of fun to draw nostr:note1jggp778wqygml0meynyfcy48t055llu88xnv0z2f0tpl2sakpacq703gel
lol, there has to be a nice parallel with this overall effort and ‘confirmation bias’
but my #coffeechain isn’t complete and I can’t think of one yet
I believe you.
It’s funny to me, the mismatches that occur in government. Sometimes way too much money is allocated to get things done (F-35 joint strike fighter anyone?), and sometimes way too little, like in NY in 2017, the so-called “genius transit challenge” debacle, summarized thus:
“In June 2017, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) launched the “Genius Transit Challenge,” offering a $1 million prize for innovative solutions to modernize the New York City subway system. This initiative sought proposals to improve signals, communications infrastructure, and rolling stock. However, the tech community and transit experts criticized the challenge, arguing that the offered prize was insufficient given the complexity and scale of the subway’s issues. They emphasized that substantial investment and comprehensive planning were essential to address the system’s deep-rooted problems effectively.”
Gm, not a lot of margin for error on that jump, well done!
I wonder about that. Maybe at the lower skill levels, but there was always a notable gap in professionals, like with people at the SEC who make way less than the people they regulate. WAY less.
*typo typo etc
One been meaning to listen to this, but maybe I don’t have to. This is probably the best takeaway.
