asking the most clueless questions about life @spirko sent me

While this experiment was conducted on teens, a larger experiment could easily be done with adults and television. I am notorious among my peers for being "even keel" - never giddily happy, never angry, never frustrated - and I attribute that to having given up my television in 1994. Even then, I recognised that the popularity of shows like "Jerry Springer", the precursor to a whole new genre of "who gives a shit TV" which is currently represented in all of the various "reality" shows, was due to the people's addiction to drama. When there's no drama to be found in one's immediate vicinity, people will create drama where none exists. This is true all the way to the international level - we call that "war". Sports create drama, weather creates drama, news creates drama. I see it as man's lowest common denominator. My quip about this is that God created man and gave to him all the gifts in existence, then smiled wanly to Himself as He saw man ignore the gifts for the packaging, much like a baby plays with the gift box rather than the toy inside.

can't take what i don't have lol

one of the reasons i don't have an issue with the usa southern border is that I may also cross it indiscriminately by simply destroying all forms of ID. "yes, I am a refugee from tyranny. from whichever country gets me into your country without an ID". :)

first...I was just being a jerk. That's fun.

second..we agree on the direction of the country and the world's governments.

third..there is hope. ThePirateBay somehow continues to exist. Maybe the government doesn't consider it a big enough threat. But it is amazing that it has survived for over 20 years (I think). There are people out there who will host content regardless of what that content is. An old stoner friend of mine posited that we could do away with ISPs entirely with a series of repeaters, like the old AM radio signals. Maybe the ravings of a stoner, maybe the solution of the future. It's going to be an interesting ride.

"I guess I am a millionaire - er, um, as soon as I can find an internet connection. Maybe the government wiull let me have one."

Sorry, had to. :)

today's useless eater stupoid question comes from my lunch:

I caught a fish. I cooked it and ate it. The flesh was white.

I caught a bird. I cooked it and ate it. The flesh was light coloured, but not white. Light brown? Ecru?

I caught a game animal. I cooked it and ate it. The flesh was red to pink.

ignoring the fact that the only animal that I catch are insects, which I do not cook nor eat, why are the colours of edible meat so different?

I'm sure that there are cooks, butchers, hunters and fisherman that may easily tell one species from another just by the colour of the flesh. What causes that? Are animals chemically different from one another?

Yes, I know that DNA causes all kinds of differences in life forms. But the DNA itself has no colour. If I had God's 3D printer, would I need different chemicals in different amounts to make different species?

Looks like it's time to foist the bugs on the NPC's again. Kelly and Mark give is the latest on insect cuisine.

lol. I'vbe got a friend, who, like every single one of my acquaintances and family members, are true "blue no matter who" NPCs. I periodically bring up some of the nonsensical issues that Legalman addresses and my response is always "well, anything is better than Trump though". I can't even get them to see issues outside of the red/blue paradigm, much less consider larger concerns.

I'm resigned to it. These people will be loaded with gene-altering chemicals, eating their rationed soylent green and living in their "homes" 24/7 and they will still say "but Trump sucks Putin's cock" (actual quote) and never even consider the idea that the whole system is the enemy's weapon.

I've mentioned the Jones Plantation to them, but unless it stars Taylor Swift and Jason Momoa, they have no interest in watching a movie. Maybe if the movie can get an endorsement from "the Rock", but even then all that would happen would be that the Rock would be cancelled and the movie would be considered terrorist propaganda.

There's no way out. I am comfortable with my relationship with Jesus and I will go on until I am killed or worse for not compromising my principles. I can be repsonsibile only for myself. I'm not waiting for "jesus to save me", because Jesus has told us that this world is temporary and that eternal life awaits at the end of this one - He is the Alpha and the Omega and whatever happens here, happens, but my faith will remain.

George Webb has done a great job at absolutely destroying the deep state narrative on the event. He believes that it was an actual attempt on Trump's life, while I believe that it was a live filming of a movie, maybe with the help of Spielberg himself, but either way the "official" story is for idiots only.

yay! Teslas and SKIMS for everyone!

I think that the "debate" should start weityh some basic questions:

1. Have either of you ever read the Constitution of the United States? Are you aware that your job is uphold that document?

2. Point to a map and find the following places, then declare whether that place is an ally or an enemy of the United States, and if "ally", declkare whether the United States has a miliatry presence in that country:

1. Tajikistan

2. Malaysia

3. Central African Republic

4. Paraguay

5. Sonoma County

3. Who are the following people?

1. Nathan Hale

2. Sojourner Truth

3. Henry Clay

4. Cesar Chavez

5. Nancy Pelosi

Actually, what comes out of Trump's mouth is baffling sometimes, but it is rarely an accident. He knows his base...and feels he can resonate enough with the undecided and the "even I can't be this crazy or blind" democrats to pull him over the finish line.

Even though I've repeatedly said I'm not a Trump fan, I am rooting for him in this election...although I would prefer RFK. But there also needs to be some strong election integrity measures in place - that needs to include both paper ID and photo ID and some proof of citizenship since some states are trying to issue photo ID to illegals.

I can plan accordingly with my finances, to try and minimize impacts of any elections...and I considered either not voting or simply voting for RFK...but we absolutely CANNOT afford a Kackling Kamala administration if we want to maintain any semblance of individual sovereignty.

the dems have an awful candidate with no charisma and a terrible track record. 5 minutes ago, everyone knew she was a hapless halfwit. suddenly, she’s “mamala the bullyslayer!” it’s all twaddle.

but the swamp donkeys also have a REALLY powerful machine and while it does not understand (or want to understand) rights or ethics or economics, it sure as shootin’ understands elections.

it understands how to register illegals to vote. it understands how to get out that vote. it understands rigging, cheating, control of counting, and massive scale ballot harvesting through mail in. they’re not going to win on the merits of their case to the american people. they’re going to win on technicalities, on knowing how to play the game that trump is tragically bad at. they are setting up the win/steal by playing every dirty trick in town.

and unless trump wins by a cheat-proof margin, he’s going to lose.

meanwhile, he is not helping himself.

buuuuuuuuttt...ya gotta admit that watching Killary sitting front and center at the inauguration while an idiot fake PoC absconds with her birthright to be the "first female president of the USA" would be pretty satisfying. One last laugh before the doom falls.

20 million people voluntarily work for their oppressor. Another 20 million work for the vassals (state and local) of the oppressor. Around 3 million literally bear arms and kill people for their oppressor. 90 million collect some kind of financial benefit from their oppressor. 12 million collect pension payments for their prior service to their oppressor.

I gotta hand it to them - socialism is a strong magnet for loyalty to the oppressor. Like feudalism, the proles don't even know that they are being oppressed.

Name one of the Ten Commandments that hasn't been broken by government. Win big prizes!

The Natural Law was cited in the US Declaration of Independence - "all men are created equal". That by definition means that any form of involuntary hierarchy defies human rights.

Some claim that government is "with the consent of the governed", but I don't recall seeing any consent forms in any country, especially the USA.

My confusion is the constant exhortation to "stack sats" and "hodl", but also the constant exhortation to zap all your sats to someone else. Which is it?

I zap away every zap I get, but I'm not going into my wallet again and again just to prove a point.

This date has been postponed multiple times, includng once under Trump's first term. Still hoping for another postponement.

They now take photos of passengers at check in (and of course destroy them immediately and don't store them for any other use except to verify you as the correct passenger - lol) and I am guessing that some kind of biometric ID will eventually be used, obviating ID cards altogether. So a postponement wouldn't be totally out of the question.
