Looks like there is a bridge to nostr (see below) and I've heard about someone doing a BTC transaction over LoRa (not sure if it was meshtastic), but I haven't seen the code. It should be reasonably straight forward to whip up though.

I got my #Meshtastic node working with an #Arduino. No #wifi nor #bluetooth required. No #smartphone, #RaspberryPi running Linux or any other real computer involved.

Nodes can talk directly to one another with no #infrastructure, and no #HAM #licenses.

The picture is a prototype for a project I'm working on, but just having the ability to have little #electronics speak Meshtastic natively is a game changer! #hardware

Not asking for myself. But how could Satoshi himself have gotten any open source development support? Or an anonymous team doing for example, coinjoin/mixing, etc? We need an ecosystem that can support anonymous developers without them running away with it.

What's the business model though? I'm not convinced there's a sustainable model for FOSS.

I think the better approach might be to let everyone get rich trading in the ecosystem and build the systems you want without needing to turn a profit off the code. Solves the conflict of interest and makes the market more positive sum.

Big fan of Yubikeys. Tails would need persistent storage to use one, but you can airgap keys with Veracrypt + hidden volume.

Old-school with multiple devices does the job too. How long has it been since you used Qubes? There's been a lot of upgrades recently that have improved the UI/UX just over the past year.

Honestly can't imaging daily-driving anything else at this point unless Joanna builds something cooler, but IMO it's going to be hard for her to top Qubes.
