Well, best guess is the reason is to sabotage Musk's vision for Twitter... which he'd also want to know about anyway.

There's no logical argument for them being better.

They still run an OS and software like any smartphone.

You just don't get a usable display.

It's called datacarrier, not OP_RETURN...

Why would you be okay with 80 bytes OR, but not 80 bytes OFOI? (Assume there's an option to weight them both at 4 WU/B)

I might have another option just because, mostly debating this as a "devil's advocate"

IIRC, Wasabi is using the LTS branch, but I certainly don't want to break compatibility either (so users can decide which version at least)

This is true for all soft forks

Due to time shortages and being behind getting started on it, I'm going to have to be more selective about new features in #Bitcoin Knots 25.

With that in mind, please let me know if there's anything specific you'd want me to make an effort to include.

Spam filters have been in Core and Knots from the start.

But yes, I plan to add new spam filtration options to deal with new attacks

I'm still banned from Twitter over a month now on false pretenses

Anything without taproot is no longer a full node.

The only way forward is to fix the spam filter.

I'll try to get Knots 25 ready ASAP...
