I don't know if this is an advert for #3Dprinting or not, but it's pretty impressive!

Anyone know how I can get 2-finger swipe navigation working in Firefox for Linux?
Things I've tried:
export MOZ_ENABLE_WAYLAND=1
widget.disable-swipe-tracker=false
Updating to the latest version of everything.
Reading search results, bug trackers, and forums.
My laptop supports pinch to zoom & 3 finger gestures in the OS.
What else can I try?

OK, I'm *really* impressed with this new promo for #DoctorWho.
Come on, nostr:npub1vczvzl6al84dgy6hstzp9yjdkcg9c6jl9y9v2dqg4wpyryackdqscl23ql tell us how you pulled that off!

Cheers. Time to buy an Internet connected Soda Stream 😄
nostr:npub1p4u3648u4vf853lcpauag94aa00vm3d2kk5y6ekcuzr0eu6sjhhs8jl2nd nah, you're all right.
The problem is I get a lot of replies which are (poor) jokes. Or even just people saying "I don't know". Which gets a bit wearing over time.
I think the trick is to contribute knowledgeably to a discussion. Treat it more like someone asking for advice rather than bantering in a pub (unless you know the other person well).
nostr:npub1pep0py4c5jvgeg5r62u8mxky78ngg5a487tflpe2sg59lc6jcgsqw8d78x I always recommend WordPress.
It integrates nicely with the Fediverse (and more connectivity coming soon).
RSS is baked in.
Support for alt text in images.
Also offers email subscriptions - like SubStack etc.
You can self-host if you like (relatively easy) or you can have a paid/free account with https://wordpress.com/

I usually don't drink coffee, so it tends to keep me awake all night.
But I'll look into the 14:10 one - ta!

nostr:npub1p4u3648u4vf853lcpauag94aa00vm3d2kk5y6ekcuzr0eu6sjhhs8jl2nd welcome to Mastodon!
If you're new to social media, I suggest having a read of this post: https://anotherangrywoman.com/2023/01/18/how-to-give-advice-on-the-internet-without-being-an-utter-menace/
Generally, when someone is asking for advice on something specific, they're looking for replies from people with similar experiences. If that's not you - then you don't have to answer the question.
nostr:npub1p4u3648u4vf853lcpauag94aa00vm3d2kk5y6ekcuzr0eu6sjhhs8jl2nd my body tells me to sit on the sofa, eating pizza, and drinking cider all day long.
So, no, I'm not going to listen to its advice.
nostr:npub1rt2ya4lnn7lzn2knafuuw8akpjqzff6yxv7hrfgat74yg4p27nyqdhvqfc does beer count as water?
nostr:npub1p836djc5vp7sdzjxzzw3vfyen6ceuhekz78wz6lac7yc8yh77cxsz4v48v yeah, I looked at that and didn't think I could make it.
A lazy Sunday with no obligations is much easier for me.
Not cold though - just grumpy & distracted.
Any tips for #IntermittentFasting?
This is the 3rd Sunday in a row that I've been trying it. First two times were a doddle - but today is kicking me!
Anyone else daft enough to try this?
nostr:npub1rt2ya4lnn7lzn2knafuuw8akpjqzff6yxv7hrfgat74yg4p27nyqdhvqfc most important thing is to measure the space it is going into. Also worth checking how flexible the interior is.
Being able to schedule them is useful if you have a flexible energy tariff.

I've built another silly web experiment.

Nothing much appears to have changed - but hopefully more stable.
Well, I've upgraded #OpenWRT and… everything appears to be working.
That was a lot less painful than I was expecting.
