Did some more blacksmithing today. Worked on making a new pair of tongs. Tomorrow i'll have to cut the piece and draw out the handles.
Once we have moved back into the old place and have things more set up, i'll be taking on more complicated blacksmithing projects. One project i'm looking to do is to make several pairs of blacksmithing tongs for different sized items.

I was excited to move into the new place because i thought i'd have more opportunities to do things, but the opposite has proven true.
With the relative we're taking care of having almost lit the kitchen on fire for the 5th time this month, we're moving back into the old place.
This whole move has fucked over so many of my plans, both personal and business related, and it was just a waste of time and effort.
Constantly being on the edge of homelessness again and again is really screwing with all my motivations
So once we move back into the old place, im likely going to be less active since the place needs alot of work.
Im so fucking sick of starting over
Started work on a hold-fast and a hardy-tool for my anvil today. The hold-fast will be for holding down items im chiseling into, and the hardy-tool will be for cutting.
I need to change the forge setup to a up-draft since it's really inefficient with charcoal use right now.
I made another coat hanger today. I also made a longer square-hole punch since the other one i have is way too short

Made this drawer handle for my mother who needed one of hers replaced. Tried to punch 2 holes, but my anvil was soaking wet, sucking out all the heat.
