Whenever someone says we're still early in Bitcoin, I find it hard to believe. But after today I think we really are. TLDR, many people still think they need to buy a whole Bitcoin which is why they opt for something cheaper.
Today kinda played out something like this:
Car Rental Guy: Nice Bitcoin shirt.
Me: Hey, thank you...
Car Rental Guy: No problem! Do you invest in any other crypto?
Me: There is no second best. Everything else is not worth the time.
Car Rental Guy: Really? I stick with Solana because it’s cheaper and, well, I think it’s the better alt coin. I get that Bitcoin is the best, but it always seemed out of my reach.
Me: Do you know how Solana works? Nevermind...that’s the thing, you don’t need to buy a whole Bitcoin. You can use DCA and pick up portions over time until you have one full coin. Hard to get to 6.15 these days.
Car Rental Guy: Seriously? I had no clue! All this time, I was buying these other coins when I could have been building up Bitcoin before the bull run.
Me: Exactly. I actually use Strike to do it. Want me to show you how to set it up?
Car Rental Guy: Absolutely! But I have CashApp. I can use that right?
Car Rental Guy: I just bought $50 worth of Bitcoin.
Me: That’s awesome. So you going to convert your shitcoin to Bitcoin?
Car Rental Guy: Yup will do it later tonight.
Whether he converts it or not, its a start and I hope he really does.
