I’m not quite sure how long you’ve been following my account. I’m also not sure if you read all of my posts.

Let me introduce myself to you.

Greetings. I’m Latrica. I’m the Founder of “Faith, Love, Light” Ministry. Prior to starting my ministry, I was a faculty member and consultant for almost two decades. During that time, I’ve helped a lot of students and professionals. Many students would say that I’m the reason why they are where they are today. (I don’t take credit for their success.) Some went from college dropouts to graduating with Ph.D’s. Students who hated math now love math and statistics after getting A’s in my class. I’ve inspired people to pursue math and statistics degrees. And even become math teachers.

I also mentored via my non-profit. I have taken a lot of people under my wing who were going in the wrong direction. They’re now on the right path. I’ve given away things (including knowledge) that changed the trajectory of their lives.

When I started my ministry, it was to help more people. I’ve helped countless people in the past and I want to do more. I’m not sure if you read the Bible. You should. It’s a great book. You can learn a lot. It encourages people to help others and that’s what I do. I’ve been self-funded during my ministry. Spent over $100k going around the world (visiting over 20 countries) and sharing the teachings of Jesus. I’ve donated to others. I’ve given more than I have received.

I got on Nostr to start the online version of my ministry. Unfortunately, some pieces I wanted to include were not available or not quite ready. Instead of leaving (like most people), I decided to be all in because I truly like the concept of Nostr. My content for my ministry has only been posted on Nostr. Others can’t say the same. Nostr has its issues but it has potential. I have shared plenty of feedback and offered suggestions. I even suggested Nostr Force™️ but it fell flat. (I personally liked that idea 💃). Not too many people were interested. And it’s ok. To be honest, I’ve been somewhat implementing the concept of Nostr Force anyways.

There have been times when I’ve seen things on Nostr going in the wrong direction. For example, when I saw that some wanted to fill Nostr with bots, I said to myself “not on my watch.” Why be known as the place filled with bots? Why not use your God-given talent to find good talent? There are a lot of smart people on here. The devs, Fiatjaf, Matt, and others including Jack are smart people. Filling it with bots (especially news bots) seemed like a quick fix. And a lazy fix. It wasn’t going to be helpful to Nostr. Someone on another platform could use it against Nostr and say “don’t go to Nostr. It’s just bots and Bitcoin!” Rather than someone else call it out, I decided to do it. I’ve said before I want Nostr to be great and I mean it. But to be honest, it doesn’t always feel like others want it to be its absolute best.

When I say “staying in my lane”, I’m referring to my own personal goals I’ve set for myself. I don’t look at what others are doing and change my ways to be like them. I don’t compete with them. And I was clear in my post.

For the record, my goals actually involve other people. Perhaps, you’re assuming that my goals are all about me. Wrong assumption. I’ve said before I want all of us to win. But if others don’t want the same, I can’t force them. If someone is adamant about going the wrong way, then there is nothing I can do.

I’m going to move forward and keep going. Roughly 8 billion people in the world. There are others who want to join forces. There are those who want the best. I don’t cry over spoiled milk. I don’t whine on the internet. I’m focused on accomplishing my goals. For example, One goal is donating Bitcoin for Christmas. A second goal is getting kids to be rewarded with Bitcoin when completing assignments via the Kid’s corner of my ministry. Instead of getting a ribbon for learning math, I’m giving sats. 🥳 Filling up their piggy banks early. A third goal is creating my TV show with a live audience. I hope to include a Q&A segment. I have many more goals. But I’ll stop here.

Yes, I want to win regarding accomplishing my goals. With God, I will win. Because winning actually helps others. When I win, you win, we all win.
