Focus on your family. There is absolutely no need whatsoever to go to a conference in person to hear people talk about bitcoin and Nostr. Those things are talked about here already, all day, every day.
The fact that you have a kid is a blessing that wins over whatever meme is trending here or what the bitcoin price is at whatever time.

Picked up a LeSablier Aviateur VQ at Watches & Whiskey this past weekend.
The AVQ is a simple two-hand time-only quartz watch with a 24-hour dial and sapphire crystal.
The minute hand makes a complete rotation around the dial every 60 minutes; the hour hand runs at 1/2 speed and thus tells the time in a 24-hour format. Super affordable as well!
They have several other automatic models that are really worth serious attention - price-wise, they’re fantastic, great movements as well. The finishing on their watches is AWESOME.
