Iβm going back to my friendsβ pumpkin patch to do face painting again this year - itβs so great to see so many people all stoked to check out pumpkins!!
I grew up in a small suburb that was surrounded by farmland - now itβs got several times the population, 1 dead mall, and the innumerable new townhouses start at $450k. Even the downtown bowling alley where I took bowling in high school is being torn down to put in more townhouses and condos.
The Fair has remained one of the Official Calendar Events in town though.
The Fair was always a big day at school for me growing up because everyone had the entire day off and EVERYONE went to the Fair. Great times! Took my son to the Fair several times and had a blast.
Fairs are great! I remember always having a day off school in September every year for Fair Day.
