I feel like we're on the brink of something really really big here. The planets are aligning, the momentum is building. The world needs Nostr (and just might be ready to hear and act on that fact).

I am Tinne, 35 years old, and I am a carnivore. I have been so for the past 9 months, and it has changed my life and perspective on a lot of things.

I no longer have osteoarthritis pain in my knee, no more seasonal allergies, and I’m not freezing all the time. I have better mood and energy, no excess worrying, and better skin, nails, and teeth—just to mention a few!

One thing is for sure: the carnivore lifestyle has really opened my eyes, which has led me down many rabbit holes—because once you see it, you can’t unsee it.

Also, i am 100% for max freedom so first it is company that needs to be “regulated” not the visitor. Second 2 consenting adults should be able to agree about anything so if i agree that X will shit russian propaganda into my brain then noone should be able to stop this transaction. But this must be maximally transparent. X must describe with max details what they are shitting into my brain. We all know they (Musk, Zuck, Xi, …) use the nastiest ways to grab tour attention and manipulate you. I am fine with that if they open the algos and let adults decide

The problem is not the social media. Noone is dealing with eg 4chan. The problem is algorithmic feeds that shows you must hateful controversial content. These algos are erasing your brain that’s why they are dangerous. They are very easy to bias towards spreading propaganda. So if we agree that selling crack on street of SF to kids is not OK we should be more emphatic to trying to fix this as well.

Thinking from first principles is hard. Not the logic, but the conclusions. If they're against the main narrative, you are going to be called a conspiracy theorist or weirdo or wack job. The social isolation and peer disapproval is the hardest part.

This is where you need to let go of that desire to fit in and be well thought of by the normies. It's hard work, but worth it for the intellectual freedom.

So I just got DEBANKED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN MY LIFE 🥲

They asked me to re-KYC my account, after using it for 3yrs.

Then 2hrs later, they send me THIS email.

"Sorry we can't give you banking services, and we can't tell you why."

Husband sent money there to pay our rent, and now they're telling me they can't send the money to my Brazilian account (even though I've been doing that for months).

So no account AND they're holding the money hostage 🤡

Thank GOD my savings are in Bitcoin.

It's times like this you realise how crazy this world is.

How can a judge has this much power? He is not elected by anyone

It is a powerful scare tactix but I believe the main point is to scare large Brazilian accounts, like influencers, politicians, jornalists, etc to not post on X bc their identity is known and if they keep posting then it must mean they are using a VPN...

I suppose the hope is that if those people flee the platform to threads, bluesky, facebook, etc, then most Brazilians will too.

Curiously, the fact that dictator Moraes ordered people be fined 9K a day for using a VPN to use X, is proof that it has nothing to do with X, but that rather the goal is to control what the Brazilian people can and can't see. Truly scary times.
