So a year ago, I accidentally took my 2tb SSD with all our family pictures on it, and attached it to my newly flashed umbrel node, thinking that I'd be able to allocate a part of that hard drive to node stuff. Silly me, it wiped the entire drive and I lost everything. I took it to a data recovery place and they werent able to get anything off of it. My wife and I were in shambles over it.

Well, today I discovered a USB drive that had all the photos we lost on it. Thank you Jesus. We are going to have a picture night with the kids tonight to celebrate.

not if you purposely hide that until payment is made. you could set a trigger bool to identify npubs that have been bought/nsecs revealed. so my thought would be that the seller runs the program to generate vanity npubs, once the program identifies the chosen string, instead of displaying the npub and nsec, it would provide an npub and a lightning invoice. once invoice is paid, the hidden nsec would become viewable to the individual who purchased direcly on screen and the bool would trigger to identify that the nsec has been viewed by someone

could make a vanity generator that would run, generate a desired npub, and hide the nsec until payment. open source and notated to verify no shenanigans

i don't know about censor, but I'd make multiple undesirable bots that post illegal/disgusting content that give nostr darkweb vibes which would dissuade normal users from using it and promote psychologically ill people to onboard. market other centralized/controllable entities as safer and more private options. Set up powerful relays and market them as privacy tech so that I could track users and sell their info to other agencies, basically making nostr a criminal honeypot for agencies.

If Jesus is willing and able to hear our prayers, what is the point in asking other Christians to pray for us? Seems pointless to go to someone else when we have direct access to the only viable mediator between man and the Father.

Except, we are told to pray for one another (James 5:16-18), we are told that the prayers of the righteous are particularly effective, and we know that God is the God of the living, not the dead (Luke 20:38) in direct reference to deceased saints.

To say that "praying to saints", or in other words, asking them to pray for us is wrong is foreign to historic Christianity and I'd argue biblical Christianity. What I won't do is argue against the typical protestant straw man that would identify praying to saints as idolatry while inconsistently asking for prayer from their peers (praying to their peers).

We shouldn't be surprised that the great cloud of witnesses waiting for us, who have been perfected in love and see our struggle here, are willing and able to speak to Jesus on our behalf..because they love us.

I've come to realize that when I attempt to take my life into my own hands, I get overwhelmed and stressed out. When I give it back to Jesus, things work themselves out.
