Really nice! ๐

Something that works relatively well for me (but I admit I don't know if it's relevant in this particular case) is to negotiate and try to reach an agreement well in advance, and then stick to it.
Personally, I think it is counterproductive, and will only achieve the opposite in the long run.
It's good UX that will drive adoption, and it should therefore be given greater priority, over adding more use-cases.
My 2 sats.
On a related note, what do you think of a global settings page for translation, custom zap amounts, custom emojis, security filters etc?
I am on the fence about #Amethyst implementing communities and marketplaces. I'm worried this could turn into a nightmare, in terms of UI and UX... We don't want to be the Astalavista of Nostr.... What do you think?
I tought Damus had it already?
I didn't know until very recently that you can actually disable the translation for specific languages in #Amethyst! Now, notes in French and German will not be translated on my feed anymore.
This makes me think that Amethyst should have a global "settings" page, with sections for translation, custom zap amounts, custom emojis, and I think even the security filters would belong there.
Thoughts?
My new companion, a refurbished Lenovo ThinkPad T450, with 16GB RAM / 512 GB SSD, bought on amazon for peanuts.
I'm now going to slap Linux Ubuntu on it. ๐๐

Divague, mais divague ร ta maniรจre, et alors t'embrasserai.

They can get away with it because they know that most people are ignorant, don't care, or strongly believe the government acts in their best interests...
NIP bottom-right ๐
Working for me. I've just tested it on this note...
A river runs through it...
