I have spoken with 2x merchants with square terminals in the last week

A butcher and a cafe

Both the owners confirmed they didn’t know much about the Bitcoin feature being rolled out

So huge educational journey ahead

Also, 1 have some feedback I didn’t expect, which was they were concerned about the reporting. Ie they liked being paid in Bitcoin direct to a lightning wallet of theirs, and they were worried if they started using Square Bitcoin payments, they would be “flagged and investigated”. It seemed a very valid concern tbh

Lots to be excited about no doubt though

Square represents a small percentage of my sales, (usually last minute add-ons in the field) but I've already been converting the 50%max for a couple weeks. Hope it really takes off though.

Good 🚀🚀🚀🚀

What’re you selling and I’m ashamed to ask but I didn’t even know. Tell me about your work

I do some efficiency consulting for small businesses, and residential services/property management.

I’d love to hear more because it sounds niche an deserves attention if people need your services.

Its not. Lol I tell people the same logical, common sense shit every home owning male in the 50s and 60s knew.

People start businesses but have no idea how inefficient they are until they pay someone to not be a yes man.

And a LOT of people think if they just pay their mortgage, their house will survive forever. Shit wears out and breaks, air filters need to be changed, (you would be amazed how many 30 year olds don't know about HVAC filters exist) and wood rots. Foundations need water. Critters and bugs get in if you don't replace your weather stripping Etc.

PSA go check that your dryer vent isn't clogged ESPECIALLY if it vents up through your attic.

You underestimate your value.

Agreed.

Foundations need water?

Otherwise they can’t grow. Everyone knows that.

In Texas, fuck yes.

In many areas, especially with clay soil and droughts, the foundation needs to be watered to prevent foundation shift and cracking.

Wow, I’ve never heard of that. Where I live we have to do everything we can to keep water out.
