I am putting together a couple of orders for the States from Canada. Now I find myself in the new tarriff hell.

Apparently it has to be paid prior to shipping and is 34%. That doesn't work so well for me at the moment.

I really want to trade products for sats but can that cost be absorbed in pricing? I am already running slim with shipping.

My head is about to explode with all of this. Anyone have any pointers?

Thanks to all the people who have ordered from me already. I may need a couple of days to sort this put and get these shipments out. #aaknostr

The tariffs are doing its job. The goal is to hurt the socialist Canadian economy.

It's simple. If you can't make money shipping to the USA then don't ship there.

Hmmm, interesting perspective. I understand about the making money bit, I was just checking if I was missing something. Loopholes and such. Thanks for your feedback.

For my order, I will send you the additional amount to cover at least most of the tariff cost. I know all too well how this goes.

These better be some damn good peaches 😂🫂

Thanks, but that is not necessary. I appreciate it though.

🫂 thanks, the offer stands. Appropriate & necessary are not always the same thing.

And they are. 😀

No great solution IMO…

IF possible, something like cooking down peaches into jam or sometime could reduce shipping%…

Kinda a whole different operation, though…

I just read something about peaches down there. Good luck and congrats on the orders!

Just a troublesome situation overall

I’ve thought about running a warehousing operation before, for plebs outside of the US. If you think something like that would be helpful, feel free to reach out. 🤙
