Trying out #gossip, since I've seen some buzz about the client lately, and my goodness, it's such a smooth experience.
Envisioning a future in which we can all use Nostr without ever opening a web browser; all the apps you need run natively on your desktop. Maybe this is how computers are supposed to be.
I like the fact that it's a standalone, but I can't get my feed to load on it at all. Maybe the next version will fix it, or maybe I'm missing something.
My feed loaded just fine. I gave it my key, selected a few relays to look up my follow lists, and it ran with that.
My relay list came up just fine, but my followed list seems to be empty. I thought that came from the identity, but maybe not.
What other clients have you used? I wonder if for some reason your followed list was never published.
Primal on Android and Web & Amethyst on Android. That's possible, although annoying. :)
I like it a lot. It's fast and clean! The only hussle for me is opening threads.
