Good morning and happy Sunday Nostr Fam 🌞

I Woke up early, went for a walk with my furry companion, I smelled from far sweet Elderflowers...On the way home I collected some Elderflowers and made myself a delicious tea (drinking it, while writing this).

When using fresh and delicate flowers I recommended using hot water up to max. 80°C (176F), to preserve the delicate aromas and achieve a smooth, soothing taste 🌱

🤓 Elderflower tea is known for boosting the immune system, providing anti-inflammatory properties, and acting as a natural remedy for cold and flu symptoms. It is rich in antioxidants like flavonoids and phenolic acids, which help protect the body against oxidative stress and cellular damage. Elderflower tea can also enhance skin health by promoting better hydration and circulation, leading to a more radiant complexion. Additionally, it can aid digestion and relieve common digestive issues, such as constipation, due to its mild laxative properties.

Have a peaceful loving Sunday 🕊️

attracted by flowers, just like a bee 🐝🥰 i can already taste it 😋 my dried elderflower from last year is almost empty, will collect some this week 🤍

Hihi...yes...like a bee...they smell so sweet!

It's such a magical plant. It's kind of strange, that most people cook it and make syrup and jelly with it, mostly with tons of industrial sugar...

Instead of just drying it. You know what's good 🫶🏻

I’ll give it a try. Do you make tea from the dried ones?

You can do both. Today I used fresh flowers. But if you collect a bigger batch you can dry them and use the dried flowers all year around.

I don’t even know what elderflower is. So I am pretty impressed by the two of you 💜

Holunder in german 🤍

Ja, okay dit kenn ick! 💜

Nix exotisches 😉

Klingt auf Englisch auf jeden Fall majestätischer, so viel ist klar 😅

Vielleicht kommt Holunder von Holy (Heilig)? Who knows...

Ah interessant. Danke fürs googeln und teilen ;)

Gern geschehen!

Holyunder klingt aber auch toll. 😄

Adore elderflower, used to drink elderflower juice a lot when I was a kid. A taste of heaven 🤍 and in my language it's called Zova

👍 Syrup in the making. Will try tea next time - sounds great. Thanks for the inspiration. Have a wonderful day 🫂

I used to make syrup too... and then I made pancake batter, dipped the cooked flowers in it, and fried them in oil.

Now, the way I'm nourishing my body, I'm not going to do either...😅

Enjoy 💚

Looking good! Love that you are using real lemon. Most people would just use citric acid. Thank you too for sharing and happy day 💚🫂

Happy sunday essencial 💜🏴‍☠️🤟 Thank you for your review about elderberry tea 😍

Hope you are having a relaxing Sunday. Thank you for reading. Do you have elderberry trees/bushed in your area?

No. 🤷‍♂️😓

No relaxed Sunday? Or no elderberry? 👀

No elderberry 🤷‍♂️
