Comfrey is a fantastic plant but unfortunately it's not the mineral accumulating plant every thinks it is. If anything it's probably mining carbon from the air best. Does work well as feed though so perhaps there is a biological reason everyone has great results using it. Can't wait to see what it's like under the microscope.

If you're sleeping on Comfrey, get up on this shit.
π Comfrey is valued in permaculture systems for its various benefits. It's often considered a dynamic accumulator which means it draws up nutrients from deep in the soil and accumulates them in its leaves. These leaves can then be used as a nutrient-rich mulch or compost. Comfrey's deep roots also help break up compacted soil and improve water infiltration. Additionally, its fast growth and ability to attract beneficial insects make it a valuable plant for supporting a diverse ecosystem in permaculture gardens.
