Ooof that bocking #4 Comfrey and Walking onion from my boi nostr:npub1ugnq57hn8va6xqr5zywy2eunem6c624583vkt0dmv40ep7tnnxkqrr898l is looking #A1topchef.

If you're sleeping on Comfrey, get up on this shit.

πŸ‘€ Comfrey is valued in permaculture systems for its various benefits. It's often considered a dynamic accumulator which means it draws up nutrients from deep in the soil and accumulates them in its leaves. These leaves can then be used as a nutrient-rich mulch or compost. Comfrey's deep roots also help break up compacted soil and improve water infiltration. Additionally, its fast growth and ability to attract beneficial insects make it a valuable plant for supporting a diverse ecosystem in permaculture gardens.

Do you think it would do better underneath coffee? As chop n drop mulch?

David the Good on YouTube has some videos of tropic and sub-tropic chop-and-drop species. Comfrey seems to do better somewhere with some winter chill.

Thank you sir πŸ™

My pleasure

At the risk of sounding nutty, comfrey is the Asange/Snowden/Ulbricht of the permaculture world.

Good health benefits too, but gets a bad wrap from big state.

Like all medicinals, DYOR.

Comfrey is a fantastic plant but unfortunately it's not the mineral accumulating plant every thinks it is. If anything it's probably mining carbon from the air best. Does work well as feed though so perhaps there is a biological reason everyone has great results using it. Can't wait to see what it's like under the microscope.
