Yeah, if I'm going to get any exercise it won't be at my desk. I do miss the catharsis of being able to zone out at work and not get thumped on the back of the head, though.

Yah, im an independent contract painter, so my work is manual labor, but its just carrying paint buckets around and climbing up ladders so its not that hard on the body.

I tried office work some years ago, and I literally just walked out of the office one day and didn't come back. I can't sit at a desk lol

Right on man. I'm entirely trapped by the pay, I can't give that shit up for the life of me. Not having to use a time clock is also pretty sweet, but holy shit very sedentary. Very boring. "Robots go brrr".
